Ethan Price
LEXINGTON, KY
Ethan Price creates hyperreal renderings in graphite, charcoal, and acrylic, combining impressive technical skill with ambiguously narrative subject matter for work that is delicate, visceral, and vaguely existential. Price seems to ask open-ended questions with his work. Through gorgeous textural overlays that obscure impossibly sharp subjects, his compositions ponder the passage of time and muse over spectral forms of the human condition.
Ethan Price is based in Lexington, Kentucky where he graduated with a B.A. in Fine Art. Price began showing with Arch Enemy Arts in 2021 after submitting to our Spotlight Showcase.
