Michael Weaver

Michael Weaver is a multidisciplinary artist who specializes in the raw juxtaposition of paint and thread. He pairs his surrealistic acrylic renderings with geometrically patterned embroidery on cut wood panels for a unique visual effect that draws an important connection between fine art and craft.
Weaver graduated from Kutztown University with a BS in Art Education and a BFA in Crafts with a focus in Fibers. His first solo feature was at AEA in August 2023.
