Sarah Cannon
TORONTO, CANADA
Sarah Cannon paints bright, stylistic renderings of women to express the vast and various mystique of the female archetype. Her characters explore themes of curiosity, solitude, and communion with nature, and how these tropes may cultivate mental health and wellbeing.
Cannon obtained her BFA from OCAD University in Toronto where she currently lives and works. Her work has been featured in Hi-Fructose magazine and in exhibitions across North America. She began showing with Arch Enemy Arts in 2018, and her work has appeared in more than ten group shows since.
