Veronica Jaeger

SOUTH TEXAS

Venezuela-born artist Veronica Jaeger creates playfully absurd, loosely apocalyptic portraits of wide-eyed humanoids in oil on canvas and pencil drawings. Saturated colors, wild distortions and disparate objects immerse her subjects in a surreal association of ideas, with a penchant for disquietude and an alarming vision of the future.

Veronica Jaeger obtained an MFA from the University of Texas Pan-American in 2006 and has exhibited extensively in galleries and museums worldwide. She’s received multiple first-place awards for her work and began showing with Arch Enemy Arts in 2021.
