pop-up exhibition

December 6th - 10th, 2023

December 4th - 8th, 2024

Arch Enemy Arts has proudly participated in The AQUA Art Fair during Art Week in Miami Beach for the past two years, each time bringing a wonderfully dynamic range of contemporary works that accurately reflect our bold and eclectic spirit. In 2023 & 2024 our main staple display was an impressive collection of 12" x 12" works in a group exhibition that highlighted over 100 of our artists and more than 135 pieces. In addition to the massive group show, we also debuted a new series of miniature collage compacts by Shannon Taylor in 2023, while in 2024 we unveiled the newest solo collection of drawings from Juliet Schreckinger and a special plushie batch release by local Philadelphia puppet maker, Aunty Beast. Alongside these solo releases, we also showcased new works and smaller vignettes by Adam Wallacavage, Andrea Guzzetta, Michael Koehler, Peca, and Thomas Ascott.

MINI HOLIDAY

solo exhibition

December 6th - 10th, 2023 • MIAMI BEACH, FL

Holding these tiny troves of treasure, one fills with a sense of wonder and anticipation while unlocking each delicate clasp to uncover a miniature masterpiece within. Mermaids and mushrooms bathed in moonlight tenderly signal the artist’s hand and feel like precious keepsakes from beloved childhood dreams. “These dioramas are tiny portals to magical worlds, which you can literally keep in your pocket, like a secret fantasy land you can keep with you wherever you go.”

Shannon Taylor received her MA from University of the Arts London, Camberwell, and she is now the Assistant Department Chair of Illustration at California College of the Arts in San Francisco, her BFA alma mater. Taylor has shown in more than twenty group exhibitions with Arch Enemy Arts since submitting to our 2018 Spotlight Showcase. MINI HOLIDAY is her third solo feature with the gallery, following the success of her sold-out MOON IN MY POCKET exhibition earlier this year.
