Arch Enemy Arts is proud to present to you another iteration of one of our most favorite group show themes, As Above, So Below 4.
For this particular group show theme we invited each artist to create a new piece that functions as an ambigram, and would maintain meaning even when viewed or interpreted from a different orientation. Some artists chose to create their piece on a mechanism that would allow full rotation on the wall (like Haley Manchon and Joe Vollan), while others made sure to affix two different hanging wires on the back so their work would be flipped 180º. This is a reoccurring group show theme that was originally launched first in June of 2016, 2018, 2021, and now we present the fourth installment in August 2022 with a fresh new lineup including: Alex Garant, Alexis Trice, Andrew K. Currey, Anthony Hurd, Brian Serway, Caroline Liu, Cirius Scion, Colete Martin, Darla Jackson, Erich Moffitt, Haley Manchon, Joe Vollan, Jordan Kressley, Juan Sanabria, Kazuhiro Hori, kEda Gomes, Lara Dann, Maria Teicher, Maryann Held, Paul Romano, Rodrigo Borges, Sea of Doom, Shannon Taylor, Shawn E. Russell, and Veronica Jaeger.
